People familiar with the water treatment industry know that circulating cooling water is easy to produce dirt, and the formation of dirt is mainly composed of dust, sundries, bacterial bodies, their secretions, scale, corrosion products and so on. How should we control the scaling of circulating cooling water in the production process. Next, Xiaobian will share the scaling problem of circulating cooling water, hoping to help you.
(1) Reduce the turbidity of circulating make-up water
The turbidity of natural water body is composed of sediment, corrosive organisms, various suspended solids and colloids. When it is used as circulating cooling water, of course, the lower the turbidity, the better, which indicates that there are less impurities in the circulating water; When the inlet water quality of circulating cooling water is poor, pretreatment must be carried out first to reduce the deposition of dirt and affect the operation of the system. Generally, the concentration of suspended solids in circulating water treatment should not be greater than 20mg / L. When the heat exchanger is in the form of plate or finned tube and spiral plate, the concentration of suspended solids should not be greater than 10mg / L.
(2) Do a good job in the quality treatment of circulating cooling water
The water quality treatment of circulating cooling water is mainly to prevent scale and corrosion. When the inlet water quality is not good, it is bound to lead to scale and corrosion. At the same time, it may also breed a large number of bacteria to form dirt. Therefore, good water quality treatment is an important method to reduce the dirt produced by the system.
(3) Add scale inhibitor and dispersant
Adding a certain amount of dispersant is also an effective method to control dirt deposition during scale inhibition, corrosion prevention, sterilization and algae killing treatment. The dispersant can disperse the large mud mass in the water into fine particles and suspend them in the water. It flows with the water flow and will not deposit on the heat transfer surface, so as to reduce the impact of dirt on heat transfer. At the same time, some suspended solids can also be discharged into the circulating water system with the sewage.
(4) Add side filter equipment
Even if the water quality treatment of circulating cooling water is done very well and the turbidity of inlet water is well controlled, the turbidity of circulating water will continue to rise, which will aggravate the formation of dirt. When the circulating cooling water system operates stably, the dust in the air will be brought into the cooling water due to the contact between the cooling water and the air when it passes through the cooling tower, resulting in the increase of turbidity. The addition of bypass filter equipment can reduce the dust entering the circulating water and effectively prevent the increase of turbidity of circulating water.
